2. Wasps are attracted to sweets and meat
Wasps like everything that contains animal protein and sugar. Make sure to cover the food outside. Put a lid on the drinks or place a napkin on the glass. Feel free to lure wasps away from the table for a while before you sit down, by placing something sweet like jam on a plate away.

4. Look for wasps’ nests

6. Remove wasps’ nest
Large hornet nests, especially those hidden in walls and roofs of projections, should be hired by professionals. Otherwise, it could be quickly attacked by up to tens of thousands of individuals. Young nests can be cleaned yourself in early spring.
You always need to wear protective clothing, gloves, and a hat when removing a hornet’s nest, and only do so if you feel safe wearing one. If you are allergic, do not try to do it yourself. Wait until evening, because wasps get fainter when it’s cold outside, and only do so if you feel safe with them.
Either try to clean the nest – you may feel safe to avoid getting too close. Then remove the vacuum cleaner bag, and freeze it until it kills the larvae and any wasps. Then throw the bag in the trash.
Another way is to put the hornet’s nest in a paper bag and then cut or trim the nest. However, it requires you to get close to the nest.
You can also tear down the nest easily, but then it is important that you can get out quickly if an angry wasp flies.
Wasps are most aggressive in August, but die before winter and after that you can remove the nest without any problems. The queen spends the winter and builds new nests every spring.
7. Build a wasp trap

9. Wasps in clothes
If you have a wasp inside your clothing, lift the fabric. Once they see the light, they find out for themselves. It is important not to panic. A wasp won’t sting you if you don’t put pressure on it.
10. No wasp tablet
Only when you are too close to a nest or when a wasp stings, do they fend for themselves. It is possible to drive a wasp away, but it is important not to squeeze it, because then it will defend itself.
